Your manager is responsible to coordinate team members’ shift schedules to ensure adequate staff coverage of the restaurant at all times and business service remains fully functioning. The manager schedules the shifts based on team members’ preferred hours, availability, performance, eagerness to work and with consideration of other scheduled team members.
When scheduling, managers only referece the team member’s availability on the 7shifts app.
Any verbal, text messages, email or handwritten notices of a team memeber’s availablitity will not be depended on or refered to.
Team members are required to keep their availability up-to-date on the app with their preferred shifts and the times they are unavailable.
Once the schedule has been published team members are responsible to fill their shifts.
Schedules will be published roughly 7 days ahead.
Time-off days must be requested at least 14 days in advance.
Team member are required to stick work according to the published schedule. If, for whatever reason, they can’t work their shift, it is thier responsibility to find a replacement.
Here’ how to trade shifts on the app:
If they are unable to find someone to fill their shift contact the manager.
The Vic is typically open for every statutory holiday with the exception of Christmas Day, Thanksgiving and Boxing Day.
